interconnection IBM - GXS

Hello all,

I would like to interconnect our IBM mailbox with our partner his GXS mailbox. Can someone tell me which steps I should take?
I heard that after everything is set up at both sides, there's something I'll have to do to "open up the ports", but I don't really understand what.

if everything is set up on both sides i should think you have nothing to do. ibm will route the mail it receives from gxs to your mailbox and you receive it just like anyother mail from them.
