I have 128k ISDN line in my both office located in different states. Win2k environment.

Now I want to interconnect my both these office. I want to know wat kind of software and hardware will be needed to accomplish this task.

Thanks in advance.

HI!

One of the best solutions is to implement Site To Site VPN between 2 firewalls, one firewall in each site connecting to the ISP and internet.
This is the preffered way if:
You are connecting each site to the internet anyway.
You are going to put a FireWall in each site (you should if connecting to the net)
You don't want to pay for long distance calls.

Another optional solution is to implement Demand Dial Routing directly between sites.
This might cost a lot for long distance calls, but may give better performance and security.

There are other solutions ofcourse. It's a good idea to consult your ISP or other experts in the field.

You will also have to plan for what type of comunication you'll have between sites.
ISDN is capable for email, web browsing, but not for many database applications. So you will also have to consider Terminal Services in some scenarions or other solutions.

Bye
