We have a T7316E phone and when we setup answer dn we have lost one one the intercom and does anyone know how to move this to another button and keep the intercom and also we have 8 phone lines

thanks in advance

Top left and going down is your lines then top right and going down for lines also, bottom right and up are your intercoms then answer dn keys.

Do a button inquiry to see what you have, you cannot move an intercom.

Your first answer dn will always automatically be assigned to the first button directly above your intercom key(s) on the bottom right.

Whenever you assign an answer dn to a set, it will overwrite whatever feature or speed dial button you had programmed on that key before so you may need to reprogram that feature or speed dial button on a different key.

Adding an answer dn will NOT overwrite, remove or relocate an intercom channel though. You will still have the same number of intercom channels you had before assigning the answer dn and they will still be in the same place.

Use feature star zero to determine what's really programmed on any button without activating that feature.

If he had 8 lines and 2 Intercom buttons on a T7316 where would the answer DN go? Would he lose a line or intercom, or would a answer DN be refused?
With 8 lines why are you not using line pools?
