we have a door intercom, and for some reason the light remains ON and it shows as busy is the system, when I stat it, it tells me that that it is a LOCKOUT TN.
It is programmed as an analog line. weird any one know what the problem may be? Any good sources showing how to do proper continuity tests ??
Thank so much

Sounds like you have a wiring issue. LOCKOUT usually indicates a short on the line, especially on analog ports. Depending on the type of cable and connector, you could do a simple wire map test to see if everything is OK.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

most likely it's the intercom causing the lockout.
but you can try changing the TN
or try taking off the crosswire to the intercom and installing a analog set or butt set on that TN directly on the frame to see if it still lock's out.

It's only dialtone-VZ
