intercom *?? not working 2

ACS 6.0 with Voice Messaging PC Card and Backup Restore Card

I've Never had this problem, But Intercom *10 or Intercom *11 etc. don't do what they are supposed to in paging, they just ring on the extension as if the * star key was never pressed.. also peculiar to this same system when pressing Intercom 78 and Intercom 79 to test the small pc card voicemail the Ladies voice says "party not available" which I've never heard before.. Despite this the auto attendent and voicemail seems to work fine, but the test of intercom 78 and Intercom 79 don't work..

Any thoughts- I'm Confused?
 
Try Feature 00, Left Intercom twice, #728

This will restart the system.

See if the Intercom Page starts working again.

Check to see if Auto VMS Cover is assigned to Ext. 78 and 79. (shouldn't be)
 
If that does not work, start disconnecting exts one at a time, do the reset and try 78 again. If that does not clear it, disconnect each expansion card one at a time and reset, then retest. It could be one bad component causing a system wide issue. Before going this route, recheck, and maybe have another tech recheck the programming to make sure you do not have something set up wrong. You could back up to a spare b/u restore card and take it with you, if you have another R6 to view it through. Or pull it to a PC via admin software.
I hasve had a badphone cause system wide issue, but more probably, reset, and vms cover is the issue.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.
 
Thanks Guys, When my customer calls back I will try resetting the system with him. I will update the site and let you all know if it worked or not.

Hopefully through this site I can become as knowledgeable as some of the people on here. What a wonderful and free resource!
