Intercom hookup on MICS

All,

Need to connect an external intercom at the door to a MICS system. When someone presses the Intercom button at the door, can it also be selected which phones it will ring on. Also which location would it be pucnhed on the bix.

You need a Norstar DOC Door Open Controler and a Doorphone which is simply a box with a button that connects to a digital station port. You can then problem it to which phones to ring it to and open door.

Norstarboy...This will be more of a home office set-up, the DOC wwoun't be required in this situaution, more just to answer the person at the door. For the doorphone switch, where on the bix would it be punced down, and programming portion of it, haven't done this one before....thanks for your feedback

I don't see why you can't use just the doorphone and no DOC, it's just something that I've never done. I've always had to use the DOC so that the customer could open the door as well as talk to before entering the office. I'd just make sure that you get a bst doorphone, those are the newer kind.
