Intercom Groups

Wonder if anyone could help.

I have situation where I need to setup an intercom group to blast across all phones within group (like a PA system except using phones)

I have been told by local vendor that this is not possible.

Dial Intercom (DI) allows a customer to arrange stations within the
Meridian 1 into separate Dial Intercom Groups (DIGs). A total of 100 stations
can belong to each Dial Intercom Group (DIG). One-digit dialing is required
for a Dial Intercom Group (DIG) of up to 10 stations, and two-digit dialing is
required for a DIG of up to 100 stations.

Thanks for the reponse, but was not what I was after. I probably wasn't clear enough as I know how to setup intercom groups with members.

I actually want it to be like a group call, but when first person answers it, it stops ringing.

I think it is no available.

You can have SCR KEY 1 (from M3903 or 2008)with same DN at all DIG sets.

The only way I know of to accomplish what you are after is to put a dummy number on on all the sets and call it when you need to reach any one in that dept. You can not "page" to all sets on a Nortell PBX, you can on Key Systems.

Thanks guys for that. I have suggested one button ringing to another department already, so will also see if these people want it as alternative.
