We have a Bogen multicom 2000 intercom that we programmed a switch for dial tone .We have a 2000ivs2 that we programmed a cots card for D002 to recieve the dial tone from the intercom. We programmed a determ series e phone speed button as a trunk D002. We get the dial tone when button is pushed but we can not connect to intercom. Any help would be appreciated.

How do you page on the Bogen? Do you dial a code of some sort to access the page zone? try pressing the button on the NEC phone then enter the paging code when you hear the bogen dialtone.

We do use a code to enter all call and a Bogen assigned ext.number to access a classroom, but it does not work thru the determ phone speed dial button programmed as a trunk line thru the cots card.Call goes busy after you put the ext.number or code in after about 10 - 15 seconds. It's like it's not talking to or connecting to the Bogen. Thanks

You say you are using trunk 002. What route is that trunk assigned to and how the route set in CM 35?
Also do you have trunk 002 set for direct trunk appearance in CM 3018?

The first test would be to connect a phone directly to the bogen on the pair you are using and see if that works. We may be chasing problems in the IVS when the real problem could be in the Bogen. Whilst you have the phone connected have someone access this from the IVS and listen to what happens as that will also give you some clues as to where the problem lies. You could for example be dialing pulse when tone is required or vise versa.

Butt set on Bogen pair works fine, have not tried the other test.

I would check out the route settings in Cmd 35. the easiest way to do this would be to set it the same as a known working route (PSTN). Assign this COT to a route one up from the known worker and you can just check each 35xx command for the working route then hit enter to get to yours and set it the same.
