Hello friends,
Could use some help with solving an issue with phones on different VLANs: internal calls do not work.
Details:
An NS700 was installed on the same VLAN/subnet as the phones, mostly KXNT553. Typical install. Been working OK for years.
To support security initiatives we need to move some of the phones to a different VLAN/Subnet (PC's are getting moved and phones with them).
I updated the routing in the NS700 with the new subnet, network mask, and the next hop, under Network Service > IP Address/Ports > Routing.
Everything seemed OK: Phones getting addresses from DHCP, they make and receive external calls, integration with CA Pro, all OK.
However when we try internal calls between phones on the new and old VLAN, the call is connected but we can't hear each other.
As we will not be moving everyone at the same time this is a problem I need to resolve.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
-Bob
