Hi - can someone explain to me what intercluster trunks are, and how they function? Are they WAN circuits that move telephone traffic between remote sites to save on long distance? Does any other kind of traffic traverse the circuits?

Intercluster trunks work between other Call Managers, so you can call via your circuits to save $$$$.
