interceptname/guid socketconnection-encryption

hi,in the interceptname/guid properties in the tsocketconnection is placed the name/guid of a registered com object according to the help,which can be used to encrypt the traffic. i would like to ask if there are any components that you could recommend me for this purpose. moreover am i obligated to create and register a com object or if i had the code in a dll file i could change it somehow and make it work?

my goal is to encrypt /decrypt the traffic between a datasnap server-client.

I've not used it but try LockBox. It's open source but I can't vouch for support beyond BCB6.
