Is there a way to intercept keystrokes? I've been looking through the help files, and apparently Word events are sparse...

Thanks for any help.

Well - imagine a Word, i.e. text typing application that fires an event (and with it several lines of code that needs to be interpreted) EVERY time you hit a key.
You will usually hit quite many keys working with Word.
Such a key monitor will eat up the remains of your resources.
:)

What keystrokes would you like to "intercept"?
Perhaps a partial protection of the document can achieve the same?

Graffy, what we need to know is:

What, exactly, are the circumstances you want to intercept keystrokes?
Why do you need to?

If what you are asking about is intercepting ALL keystrokes, ALL the time, then MakeItSo has the point. This is NOT a good idea. It is simply not practical, and essentially is not done.
