Intercept VM 3

Does Partner ACS with PartnerPartner Messaging have a Intercept VM feature like Nortel NAM does. This is where a button with lights is programmed and if the caller is send to VM i.e. NA or BY the ext. user can see that the caller is hearing the VM message and can press the button and intercept the call and then connect the caller to the ext. user.

Disable automatic privacy on the voice mail ports, then you can press the line that the call is on. The voice mail system will detect the barge in and announce "Goodbye", tell the caller to hang on a moment, then you have the call.

Partner has a Call Screen button (F25). When active, the user hears the caller while in VM and can grab it by picking their handset. It requires a button with lights and may have to be programmed via the operator set.

seen that feature but never tried it, I guess I am not curious enough any more to try things out, but I know for sure that I will recommend that feature in the future as I would love to have that.
