Interbase single database size

How long coud be a single interbase file on win32 platforms
 
If you are talking versions prior to 6.5 then (roughly speaking) 2GB, after that according to the InterBase 7.1 Operations manual...

"InterBase supports 64-bit IO, so the size of a database file is effectively limited only by the operating system"

so I guess theoretically that would mean 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 bytes
