I am attempting to import data from an Interbase 6 database to a Microsoft SQL 2000 database utilizing the DTS Import/Export Wizard. I am able to connect and import 1 random table at a time however when I select multiple in the wizard (0) records get appended to each of the selected tables and the wizard just tries forever.

Not sure why 1 table will import but not multiple? I need to import quite a few tables often.

????

Thanks in advance

Suggest you do each table individually as one DTS package and then create an overall DTS package that uses the Execute package task to runthe table imports in the order in which you need them.

I never thought of that .... will try that tonight.

Thank you very much
