Hi all,
I have a remote database sitting on a Windows 2000 Server machine running Interbase server 6.5. I have around 10 clients connected through an application written in C++ builder with Interbase Express components (TCP connection).
Recently I installed the application on another machine (win XP) and every time this client connects Interbase Sever locks up (as well as all clients connected to it!). The machines configuration is the same as other clients that have no problems. Server Manager says Server is running although clicking "Server Properties" has no effect. After rebooting the DB is fine and the Interbase server log shows no errors. All works fine until I try to run the app from the 'rogue' client and again the Interbase server freezes!.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as im very confused!
Info: Server spec, Twin Xeon 1.8ghz Raid Mirror, 1GB DDR
TIA Kris
