Interactive Web Calendar

I have a Web Based Calendar, (basic Word document converted to HTML). Workers submit leave requests and days worked etc to me, and I input them into the document and save it to the server for all to view via browser.
I want to make this interactive, workers go to a web page, input days worked, days off etc, and that automatically posts to the web page for all to read only.

Any pointers in this direction?

HTML is static, so you have to use a server-side language like PHP (my favourit), CGI or ASP to create these pages. But I can't tell you how to do that in this thread. (it's way to much).
