Has anyone had to opportunity to work the I3 Contact Center applications with Interactive Intelligence if so what are your opinions on how it compares with Symposium. We are looking at doing some IVR and IP Data Convergence upgrades to our Call/Contact Center. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Have got both running here, I3 seems alot better in the Outbound stakes, as we have no other Predictive dialler on SCCS. What sort of Data convergance are you looking at doing?

Actually we are looking at front ending our PBX Opt 61C/ SCCS 3.0 with the I3 IVR incoming with 2 LD PRI's. They are giving us 4 evaluation licenses for ACD/IP license usage and I was going to create an ACD to evaluate the reporting and feature uses. What are you using on yours?

We use our I3 & 81C/SCCS 4.2 totally separately, where even though they occupy the same floorspace agent wise. Our I3 handles 95% outbound, rest inbound ACD. Reporting I've heard is good, we use crystal & SQL to mine the data out if it doesn't come in any standard reports, so no complaints.
Are you going to hang the I3 off the M1?

used it a while ago in the uk. i3 fronting a ivr connected to a meridian 81 backend. worked really well other than the occasional reboot

also tried it as a phone system, but proved to difficult to get e1 compatable channel banks etc.

The firm is now rolling out the IP version and from what I hear it's ok

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
