Hi Bill,
This could mean you need to change your compatibility to Custom. depending on your settings, certain functions may be automatically blanked out.

Thanks for the post, I have found that interactive buttons don't work when you try and place them into a shared boarder but work fine in other areas. And I also noticed that dhtml does not work in a shared boarder. Is there away to change this?

Sorry, thats beyond me. Not sure about the interactive buttons, but I don't see why DHTML wouldn't work in Shared Borders when Java does. Functionally there doesn't seem to be much difference.
