Interactive Buttons In Indesign CS3

Im a creating Interactive buttons in Indesign and exporting them as PDFs.
For some reason if there is an object in-line but not grouped with my button, it vanishes in the PDF.
The vanishing object is above on a different layer and has be brought to front

Any Ideas?
