I have an installation using four analog lines and a Grandstream. The customer is complaining that an outgoing call times out too quickly if they don't dial quickly enough. Specifically, once they dial '9', the call drops if they don't begin dialing the rest of the number within three seconds. Any suggestions?

It depends on the type of phone and system options. Nortel digital phones use the Auto Dial Timer found in PBX Configuration > Settings > Nortel Settings > Auto Dial Timer. That setting is in ms (default=3000). Sip phones have similar options in the phone configuration. Also, IIRC the Grandstream GW has an option to wait for the CO dialtone before passing the digits.
