Hi All

Hope someone can help as this one is driving me nuts!

I Have a cluster of 6 MCD's R6. A call comes into a PRI on Controller A. Also on controller A is 3 5550 consoles who answer the calls and distribute. In this case they send the calls to an analogue phone (berkshire) on controller C. That user then trys to put the call on hold by pressing the recall button. However nothing happens. The thing is it is random, the next 10 calls the transfer / recall button works fine.

We have played with the Flash timers but to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Just a quess..........any logs indicating E2T errors or DSP exhaustion?

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Yeah good thought I'll check, would that effect the flash?

Any chance he is trying to put the console on hold?

If so, he's going to have a bad time.

Hi kwb

The calls come from a console but I belive it is the end user they are putting in hold. Unless the console hasn't released properly?

Any way of finding out? Smdr?

No way to determine the call parties for a call in progress except by monitoring the station directly through maintenance and even then only with snapshots.

The fact that you say it works sometimes and not others, and that consoles are involved, suggests the issue is with the console on the line.

Hi kwb

I agree but can't isolate so as a temp solution on one of the main culprit phones will replace with an ip phone. If the issue remains then I think it is the console on the line and we can do a trace

If the issue goes away then it is something on the analogue side

Nytalkin, not a resource issue, check the logs

Would follow your plan. Replace the set and if that doesn't work try moving the phone to a different port.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
