How bizarre.

For some unknown reason IntelliSense has disappeared. I put a dot after an object, the normal dropdown of available properties/methods does not appear. Ctrl-Spacebar does not do anything.

Any ideas???

Really? How does that work. It allows syntax errors to be trapped, yes, but what error in code stops IntelliSense from working at all?

In any case, this does not apply, as I am talking about a new Project, a new procedure with nothing there. That is, I was writing:
Code:
ActiveDocument.
and nothing happens.

Interesting link. I wish my OntelliSense had all the features mentioned, but that is for Visual Studio, not VBA. For example, I have no Tools > Options > Environment.

However, it is new day....and it is working fine.

Whatever.

It's not a bug, it's feature!
Glad the love is back.

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can’t make me happy.

Most of the time if intellisense stops working select "debug", "compile" and you will see why it stopped.

I will try that the next time...hopefully a long time away!
