I'm a student just beginning to learn Oracle, and I'm having trouble setting up my first database. Following the instructions in the DBO Certification Exam Guide for starting the Intelligent Agent service fails, yielding the error message, "Error 0007: Storage control blocks have been destroyed". I can't find reference to this error anywhere, and even my teacher has never heard of it. Can anyone out there help? Thanks!

Intelligent Agent service will not start.

I found a reference to this error on Metalink. It indicates a TCP/IP error. Either TCP/IP hasn't been installed at all, or there is a mistake in the TCP/IP information in either the listener.ora or tnsnames.ora files.
