While looking for a cheap way for some of my people to view CAD files I discovered much more than I could imagine.<br><br>IntelliCAD was written by Visio to compete with AutoCAD. When Microsoft purchased Viso they were not interested in the product. Visio helped set up an open source group to advance the product and released the source code to them. The new product IntelliCAD 2000 is now released. The core product (which is minus licensed technologies) is available for FREE download from <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> full professional version which is R14 compatible and can even do 3D photorealistic rendering can be had for as little as $99.00.
