When trying to update the antivirus definition using intelligent updater exe files from symantec web site, some of the machines give me:
This package or not signed with a valid symantec signature. This intelligent updater package cannot continue installig.

OR

This package has failed the digital signature check. Please re-download it again from symantec web site.

The difference comes when I run either the i32 or the x86 version
I tried downloading in two different days but didn't work. I tried

but didn't yet help

Thanks in advance guys

Symantec recently started signing their definitions. If you're getting errors, you need to update the Windows root certificate. More info here:
(Sadly, this doesn't come up if you search the Symantec KB unless you check "search LiveUpdate"...apparently all their info on defs is in a different database.)
