Hy,

I have a problem with procesor it's default multiplier ratio is 14 and it is locked, default frequency is 200 MHz.
When I start machine in the middle of booting windows xp there is blue screen. But interesting it works when frequency is set to 220 and 233 MHz. But problem is overheating. Is anybody having solution for this.

Thanks.

What is the blue screen message?

Also, you can try selecting a setting only slightly higher than 200MHz, like 201, etc., and see if that works.

more air flow is needed, p4's tend to run hot.

my 3.06 running at 3.52 literally heats my room. It gets from 65 when I turn it on to upwards of 80 degrees within 2-3 hours. I'm using a liquid cooling setup though, so all that heat is coming off of the radiator and out of the power supply, the cpu itself is a comfy 102 degrees :)

try making some sort of ducting with a fan on one end pushing cool air from outside the case, across the cpu/heatsink/cpu fan, and out to another fan blowing outward from the back of the case. It should lower your temps enough to keep the multiplier at 220 or possibly 233.
