You'll see about a 10% - 20% system wide performance boost from the RAM improvement alone (PC133 to RAMBUS). Plus whatever your processing boost is.
There are many opinions here. It all depends on what performance you want and HOW MUCH MONEY YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND, RAMBUS is very expensive. If you're going from a high end PIII to a low end P4 it's probably not worth it, but if you're going from a PIII 450 to P4 2Ghz, it's well worth it... if you have the money. ----------------------------------------
