i have a intel 815 chipset. i am considering upgrading to something a bit beefier but as i understand it, because my current chipset is all integrated i would need to get a new sound card and motherboard aswell. pls could anyone confirm or deny this. also, what is the pcmia slot on the chipset for?

thanks very much.

Yes, if you are using an all integrated motherboard, open the case and check if you have any added cards and what is that card. If you are having all integrated cards, you will need,
VGA card, sound card, fax-modem card unless again you buy an integrated system. (By the way, if you again go for integrate ystem, you will not get any benefit I think).
