I am attempting to set up RAID 1 on an Intel Entry Server Board (SE7221BA1-E) using SATA HDs. Using the Intel Embedded RAID, I believe I have correctly configured the RAID settings. I have followed the instuctions. I have only previously configured RAID using W2K. Once I install W2K3, I am unable to view the RAID to verify (Using Disk Management). I attempted to not use the Intel RAID and just use W2K3 to configure RAID, but it will not allow me to 'mirror' the drives. The option is dimmed.
Is there a way I can verify that the RAID is configured properly and is working? I don't want to install any more software until I can verify this.
