Intel d850gb chipset driver settings for windows 2000 professional.

I have Intel D850GB motherboard and 1.5 cpu. I have installed windows 2000 professional with sp2 and intel inf and other utilities on it.
I found that in device manager some drivers e.g DMA, system speaker, system timer installed are not Intel drivers but the Microsoft drivers. So shall I upgrade it to Intel 82801BA LPC drivers or keep Microsoft drivers?
Please help me.

Hi hardwareguy;

I had a situation with an Abit mobo & AMD 1.2Ghz. I did a clean install of W2K without a hitch. Loaded the CD that came with the mobo with the VIA drivers and all hell broke loose.
Having said that - If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
