Intel Application Accelerator in SE Installation

Attempting to configure SE Intel Application Accelerator
installation with some version of Norton System Works and
Powerquest Drive Image.. (dual booting SE and XP Home)

Reason.. Speed Disk (and other applications) painfully slow in SE without IAA.. quite fast with such installation..

Problem.. Drive Image 2002 causes SE to seize in
combination with Norton 2003, altho Speed Disk works
fine.. Speed Disk inoperable with earlier version of Norton System Works. altho Drive Image works fine..

History.. Have formatted C:\ and made a fresh install of
both combinations in accordance with the sequence
recommended by Intel.. the conflict of IAA and
earlier versions of Speed Disk recognized by Intel and
Symantec.. apparently no known conflict of Drive Image
with IAA and Norton System Works 2003..

Any recommendations appreciated..
