Integration With Micros Opera Hotel System 1

I am a foxpro programmer and I have friend of mine who requested me to investigate how to read information from Micros Opera Hotel system. He needs this info for his restaurant system so to know the name of the person in the hotel room.

My question is 1) How I can read this information from Micros database? I read that there is some kind of scripting language, but how does all this work. Can I have an Oracle ODBC connection and read the info directly from the database. Is there some sort of documentation I can read to help figure out what I have to do.

Any help is really appreciated.

What is the Restaurant POS system? Most have some ability to utilize the standard Micros PMS interface so you can query room info and post charges to rooms.
