We're currently using our Micom boxes as straight terminal servers, but we're having difficulty troubleshooting the network because our remote branches aren't very good at letting us know when they switch cables around. I had thought to reduce the problem this poses by installing the IRM in our Micom boxes (Marathon 10K, 5K, and 1K), thereby at least reducing the cabling at HQ. Any feedback on how well the TCP/IP routing works?
