Hello there,
We’re a local Home Automation installer here in Paraguay, South America. One of our current clients has a NEC SL1000 PBX, which he wishes to integrate to his Control4 Home Automation System, and specifically Control4’s VideoDoor Station.

From what we saw, we couldn’t find an external alert port at the SL1000 that we use as a signal, so that we would close it through the Home Automation System, once somebody rings the VideoDoor Station bell, which should generate a group call to all the phones in the house, signaling that someone is at the front door.

Is this possible? How could we achieve this? Can someone provide us with support? The local company who installed the NEC PBX doesn’t know the answer to the above question. That’s why we are reaching to you.

Thanks in advance.

Try checking the install manual which can be found here.....

ftp://bo.xoco.ru/pub/NEC_SL1000/Manual/SL1000%20Hardware%20Manual%202.0.pdf

There is a section on the doorphone which gives the specs required.
