I am trying to import some items into the inventory using intergration manager. I need to set the some user defined fields also for the items. I also need to set prices for the item
I am using the GP 8.0 adapters and not the SQL optimised adaptor ( can't use SQL optimised because it doesn't have the options listed under fields and hence cannot set these )

After setting all the fields, i run the integration, it says "Not all required fields have been entered. Required fields appear in bold red type." I tried and tried finding and setting all fields. Can't locate the field it is referring to. Any idea how to debug this to find where the error is occuring. thanks

do the following:
close integration manager

create a text file called im.ini in the same folder that the im.exe is installed.

after creating the file... copy the following code into the txt file:

[IMDynPrv70]
DoUIRedraw = Yes
ShowDynamics = yes
Dumpmacro=C:\Macros.txt

re-open integration manager
a message box will appear
run the integration (great plains will remain open and you can watch the integration) important - dont click anything while the integration is running.
the macros.txt file will provide you with the integration information, that is, it will tell you where the integration is failing.
email me back if you have questions.

I put the im.ini file in the integration manager folder with the code you gave. I closed IM.exe and and ran the integration manager. No message box appeared, Great Plains was not visible and no macros.txt file was created after the integration failed. Please advise what i did wrong or what i need to do further, thanks Hamza
