Integration between Novell and Metaframe

I have installed a Netware Server 5.0 and in another server windows 2000 with the Metaframe XP 1.8. It works normaly. When a netware users logs in the metaframe, windows 2000 server auto create an account and sinc the password.

Now I installed a new metaframe server, but when a user logs in metaframe and puts the user/pass, the windows 2000 doesn't create the account.

How can I set to this work?

Try the Novell forum, sounds like the Dynamic Local User process for Novell is not working for the 2nd server.

install the zen agent on the new metaframe
this is required for the dlu to work

How can I install the zen agent? Where is it?

i am assuming that you are running zen on the nds side of things

in order to get users autocreated then you will need to use a dlu policy or idm

i am assuming that if you have an existing working metaframe then it has a zen agent installed and the accounts are being created with the dlu

check in the ds for this policy and the zen agent is dependant on the version you have

i am assuming this is what you have but remeber i am not equipped with a crystal ball

does the metaframe have a netware client on it - if so version?

Yes, both new metaframe server and old metaframe server have the netware client installed v. 4.81 sp1.

In the NDS there is a dlu policy. What I don't understand is: how this policy is associated with the old server? Ok, I have to create a new policy. The question is: where I tell to this policy that it is valid for new metaframe server.

i'm curious to why you are using such an old client but never mind
it should be 4.91 sp2
you need to install the zen agent onto the new server so that i can run the dlu

the agent is a version thing as well - i have no idea whta version of zen agent you are running and where you have stored this agent - it will most like be in sysublic but can be antwhere depending on setup
