integrating tcl-interpreter in C++: chokes on tk widgets in tcl file

Hello,

my student is working on a GUI for me which integrates Tcl/Tk and uses C++ for the algorithmic code. We are using Tcl_FileEval() to load the tcl file, but somehow this function chokes on the tk widgets such as label and button which are contained in the tcl file.

Would someone have an idea of the cause of the problem?

nothing further is required. We'd forgotten Tk_init().
