Greetings,

I have 4 Crystal Report Charts that I want to upload to a web portal.

- The charts should have drilldown capabilities

-These charts will need to be scheduled to run daily automatically reflect the changes

-These charts will appear on the same page

Currently, I run a report and post an image of the chart to the page.

I also need to know how long this would take to make it happen.

Many, many TIA,
pmella

pmella,

You can accomplish this by creating a report with the 4 charts - schedule the report to run in CE and its output to an ftp location in the format you require.

Thank you so much, Pailmarr!

Still, would I be able to have drill down capabilities?

If so, what format would be required AND would it be entirely automated?

pmella,

Unfortunately the drill down capabilities are only accomplished through the use of the Crystal Viewer. Changing the format of the report would remove this option from the report.

Because you are posting the report to a web portal (you weren't more specific) I would imagine it would take the form of a html page or adobe acrobat file. These formats don't support drilldown.

To make a report available for drilldown means hooking CE to the web portal - depending on your current licensing agreement might make this impossible forcing an upgrade.

I hope this helps.
