Integrating Director stuff in Flash

Hi,

Is there a way to integrate Macromedia Director files into Flash? I know you can do it the other way around (putting an SWF file into Director).

If it's not directly supported, then is there a way to load up an HTML page within Flash that has a DCR file in it, and the browser will handle loading the Shockwave plugin? I don't want to load up a new HTML page to show the Director content, so I can't just do a getURL.

And I'm using Flash 5 btw.

Simply put ... no! Afraid you'll have to open a new window!

you can load stuff from flash that is a director file. For example, if you are using frames in your html source you can pull up anything into that frame. Just make your buttons i the flash file in one frame open up another file into an adjacent frame. You'll probably have to reformat the whole thing and won't be able to control the shockwave moveie, but at least you can call it without opening up a whole new window.
