Our organization is looking at getting a CRM package to use with GroupWise and I have been assigned the task of doing some investigative work to determine what packages maybe available for integrating with GroupWise.
We're investigating a product from GroupLink called ContactWise (Version 7.1) for handling users contact information and we are hoping to integrate this with GroupWise Version 6.0.2. GroupLink is one of the companies partnered with Novell is providing this type of product.
I know Contact Wise Versions 3.2 and 5.1 were "YES Tested and Approved" by Novell but I'm cannot find any documentation from Novell stating whether Version 7.1 as been tested at this point. Is anyone aware if any testing as been completed or is ongoing for this latest version of ContactWise by Novell?
I know our organization looked at this product several months ago and security in the earlier versions was a concern. At that time, security passwords were not encrypted but were text based and because of this reason, it was decided by our network people not to go with this product.
My question is as anyone successfully integrated the ContactWise product with GroupWise in their own shop? If so, would you recommend looking at this product? What kinds of problems did you experience? Is there any other CRM software package you would recommend for integration with GroupWise other than ContactWise?
Any information that can be provided would be appreciated.
