I have connected older PA systems in the past to Call Manager ver. 3.x-6.x via the FXO port. This system does not have any analog ports nor does it have any dial tone. I can’t seem to make it work via an FXS port-just broadcast dial tone.

Is there a way to connect the old PA via FXS or is there another device I can purchase to put in between the PA and the FXO port?

Thanks!

first find out the impedance of the amplifier input...

if it is Hi Z you will have to adapt it to a low z 600ohm impedance... they make those adaptors then you need a page zone adaptor to convert a ringing line from an ata
to a transmit pair. so you will call the dn the line will be converted to a transmit pair and the impedance matcher will take 600 and allow it to transmit it to the hi z amp input...
