Intalling VB.NET express edition

I have installed VB.NET on my PC. The CD came from a book I purchased. Im mostly interested in SQL server, but after the installation I see no signs of SQL Server Managment Studio, I only see unser sql server "configuration tools".
Can anybody help???

The Cd where you installed the VS2005 Express edition caontains SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. It has no GUI based management. SQL Server 2005 Advance is actually Express edition with SQL Server Management Studio. You can download it free from Microsoft.

I think you have installed SQL Server Express Edition. To check it, goto Services and check whether you find SQL Server 2005 service there! If it is not there, you need to install it.
