Hi, Been a while since I posted/viewed anything about CR (2.5 yrs ago since I last used it), so this question I have may be down to rustiness. I'm using CR2008/ Oracle 10g via a Business Objects (derived table 'universe'). My select statement is fairly basic, ten attributes only, it has no where clauses defined, and the report does not use any record filtering. Nor is there any formulas involved in sections. So problem, script returns 8700 records(full list of projects - so good), report stops retrieving records at 5000! Am I missing something? help as ever much appreciated

Look in the Parameters dialog of the universe, it will have a max records setting of 5000. Increase to whatever you feel is appropriate.

briangriffin,

You were absolutely correct there was a limit in place, now removed the report is behaving as expected. Many thanks, would not have known to check this parameter.

Cheers
