We are running MQSeries v5.2 using AMI. We are encountering insufficient memory error during the publish of 100Mb data. The RS6000 machine has 4Gb physical memory and no other processes are running. How can we resolve this?
Thanks.
Roy

Hi,

Contact IBM & find out if this is a know problem. Or look on FixDist for any AIX APAR's. Chances are it's either a configuration problem with MQseries or it's a bug in the version of AIX you are using.

As a general rule aviod any release that has an even number in it e.g. AIX4.2, AIX5.2 They are normally "enhancements" and the odd numbers are fixes to the "enhancements" e.g. AIX4.3, AIX5.3

Download and install CSD06, which is the latest fix for MQSeries 5.2 and your problem will go away, trust me on this one.
