I am trying to insert links from a PowerPoint 2000 file into a Word 2000 document. I keep getting an
error message, "There is insufficient memory. Save the document now."
This is how I create the links:
Open a new Powerpoint presentation and create a dummy slide
Open a new Word document
Click on the slide sorter icon in Powerpoint to display thumbnails
Right click the "dummy slide" thumbnail and drag it to the location in the Word document
When dropping the file I select the "Insert Powerpoint Object Here" menu choice.
This is where I receive the error
I have done this same technique many times using Office 97 without any errors. I get the same error
on multiple computers at work. I have installed the Microsoft SR-1a patch to no avail.
Am I missing an installed component of Office 2000?
Any ideas?
Thanks. . .
