Using Pagemaker 7.0.1, I am trying to place graphics into a large document and keep getting the pop ups insufficient memory, can not place.
Is there anyway that I can increase the memory?

Tim

How large is 'large'? How many pages in your document? Are you trying to embed the graphics or just link them (the latter is preferred). What are the specs of your computer? Specifically, how much RAM do you have?

Also do this:

1. Run the Diagnostic Global Recomposition - see the PM Helpfiles > Windows Shortcuts > Power Shortcuts for more details.

2. Delete all unwanted temporary files and defrag your local drives.

3. Re-save the publication using File > Save As…

Thanks for your help so far.

I have an iMac G4 1.25 GHz
Memory was 256 MB but I have now added 512 MB.

The Mac recognises the extra memory but Pagemaker doesn't seem to.

Do I have to do something to Pagemaker?

Sorry if I sound thick but quite new to this

Cheers
