I'm getting an error "insufficient directory space to preserve <filename>". There is disk space available in both the sys and vol1 volumes. I found a technical document on Novell's site, and purged the directories which fixed the problem for two days or so, it is back. I saw that novell recommended changing the maximum percent of volume used by dirctory to higher value (13% is default). Where do you do this? Also any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks-

You can set this in two places, in Servman under File System Parameters or you can type it in at the command line.

Set Maximum percent of volume used by directory = ##

This setting has a limit of 5 - 85%. Also keep in mind you don't need to use the % sign at the end of the setting. Also if you type in the command at the console, make sure you place it in the Autoexec.ncf as well.

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
