I am trying to transfer my executable to another computer, the other computer has borland installed, when I launch my executable I get the error :

The instruction at "0x00409a6a" referenced memory at "0x000000b4". The memory could not be "read"

any help would be appreciated.
The program uses a thread and database.

step through the code and see which line the error is spawning from. Typically, you can find out what you did wrong or what the compiler doesn't like if you know what line. If you step through the code, find the error and need help with what's wrong on the line, ask that. You have to find the cut of code that is giving problems. We really can't help just by seeing the error. We have to have the code that's causing it.

I don't want to undermine you or anything, and I apologize if I do, but do you know how to step through code? If you don't, don't hesitate to ask, and I will post up what to do.
