Instead of error 404 users redirected to the web site

All users of our MS Back Office 2000 server redirected to the top domain web page (which is public, external and hosted by ISP) when they mistype an URL.
Config: internal.abc.com - internal domain, abc.com - public web site.
ISA server SP1 + patches, clients use IE6SP1.
Example: when they type instead of "This page cannot be displayed" error they are redirected to the Any ideas/saggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
